The Riflessione Shelving Unit
I have named this shelving unit Riflessione which means "Reflection" in Italian. Tetris is a
homage to a childhood favourite, and The Riflessione is a unique take on the vulnerabilities and challenges one encounters over the passing years of growth. The Riflessione also represents my journey as a furniture designer. I have played to my strengths and stuck to a minimal design language with neutral colour schemes and attention to detail on aspects such as concealed handles, unique fixtures and subtle grooves.This shelving unit's singular "wow" factor is the floating glass storage box
attached to a uniquely designed metal fixture. The Riflessione takes subtle inspiration froma Tetris piece while viewed in the front plan. The materials used are simple yet premium,adding to the design's simplicity while exuding an aura of contemporary luxury furniture design.
